How to Fill in the User Import File (CSV / Excel)

When using the Bulk Import feature, you can upload a CSV or Excel file to create multiple users at once.

To ensure a successful import, it’s important to follow the correct format and complete all required fields.

📌 Note: You can download the sample file from: Settings → Users & Permissions → Users → Import Users

How to Complete the Import File

  1. User_name (Optional)
Enter the name as you want it to appear in the system.

  2. Email (Required)
Enter the email address the user will use to log in.
📌 Note: If the email is missing or duplicated within the file, the system will display an error message indicating the exact rows that need correction before the file import can proceed.

  3. Ext_number (Required)
Enter the user’s extension number. Must be a unique numeric value between 100 and 9000.
📌 Note: If the extension already exists in the system, the import will fail at the final stage. Duplicate extensions within the file will block the file import.

  4. Password (Optional)
Enter a password for the user. If left empty the system will automatically send a password setup/reset email to the user

  5. Level_ID (Optional)
    Defines the user permission level (2 = Admin, 3 = Manager, 4 = Agent)

  6. Role_id (Optional)
Enter the Role ID assigned to the user. To find it, go to Settings → Users & Permissions → Roles and open the role side panel. The Role ID appears at the top.

  8. Groups (Required for Managers and Agents.)
Enter the Group ID. To find it, go to Settings → Users & Permissions → Groups. The Group ID appears in the list or in the group side panel.

💡 Useful Tip:
If assigning multiple groups, separate them with commas (example: 1,3,5)
