How to Manage Password Renewal Rule
The Squaretalk Platform allows administrators to enforce a password renewal policy to improve account security.
When enabled, users will be required to update their password after a defined number of days. This helps reduce the risk of unauthorized access caused by old or reused credentials.
📌 Note: Admin permissions are required to configure password renewal settings.
Step-by-Step: How to Manage Password Renewal
Go to Settings → General → System Settings and locate the Enable password renewal section.
Enable or disable the setting.
If set to Yes, you will be required to fill in the Password expiry (days) field to define how long a password remains valid.
💡Useful Tip: Once this period is reached, the user will be required to create a new password the next time they log in.
