How to Reset a User’s Password

For security reasons, user passwords in Squaretalk are encrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone, including administrators.

If a user forgets their password, you must reset it using one of the options below.


Option 1: Admin Password Reset

Use this option if you want to send a reset email to the user, where they can manually reset their password.

  1. Go to Settings → Users & Permissions → Users, find your user and click on the Reset icon under the Actions column.

  2. Confirm your action and let the user know they can check their email to find the reset link.


Option 2: User Self-Service Reset

  1. Go to the Squaretalk Platform login page

  2. Click “Forgot your password?”

  3. Enter the email address linked to your account

  4. Check the inbox for the reset email

  5. Use the secure link to create a new password


📌 Important: In order for this to work, the user must have a valid email address saved in their profile.
