How to Whitelist an IP Address
IP Whitelisting creates a digital security fence around the Squaretalk Platform.
By restricting access to approved IP addresses or geographic regions, you can prevent unauthorized login attempts and device registrations from unknown networks.
📌 Note: Admin permissions are required to whitelist an IP address.
Step-by-Step: Whitelist an IP Address
Go to Settings → Security → IP Management and click “+ Add IP Rule”
Choose the Type:
IP → Allow a specific IP address
Geo IP → Allow access from an entire country
Enter the specific IP address or select the country from the dropdown list
Define the Validity Date Range
Under Access Level choose what services the IP address is allowed to access.
Choose between Yes and No under Ignore List. (Set this to Yes if you want to ensure this trusted IP is never automatically locked out — even if someone enters the wrong password multiple times.)
Click Create to apply the changes.
✅ The IP rule is now active.
