You can onboard multiple users at once using the Bulk Import feature in the Squaretalk Platform.
The process is guided and interactive, allowing you to validate, configure, and customize users before they are created.
📌 Note: Admin permissions are required to import users.
Go to Settings → Users & Permissions → Users and click “Import Users”.
After being redirected to the import page, choose your preferred way to add users:
Paste Emails only separated by new lines. (You will be prompted to enter names in the next step.)
💡Useful Tip 1: You can download the sample file directly from the import page.
Check the detected users that will appear in the preview list below.
Before importing, you can define default settings for all users:
Role / Permission Level
Group Membership
Language
Extension Type
Call Waiting
Active / Inactive Status
💡Useful Tip 2: Extension numbers are automatically assigned based on available numbers. You can manually adjust extensions if needed.
You can edit specific users before importing by overriding:
Role
Group
Language
Extension
Status
Settings
💡Useful Tip 3: The email cannot be changed at this stage.
The system validates everything before import, including:
duplicate emails
duplicate extensions
required fields
password strength
💡Useful Tip 4: If no password is provided the system will automatically generate a secure password.
Complete the Import
Passwords must include:
at least 11 characters
at least one uppercase letter
at least one lowercase letter
at least one number
at least one special character
The valid users will be imported successfully
Failed users will be clearly identified
An error message will explain the issue
You can fix and retry immediately, by going one (or more) step back and editing users’ details
