In order to create and setup an IVR please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to Settings from the left, and click on IVR under the Voice section:
2. Click "Create new" to create a new IVR configuration:
3. Enter a Name and Description for your IVR:
4. Click "Audio welcome message" to select/add recording as a welcome message:
5. In the pop-up menu if you select "Allowing callers to dial extension directly" will allow the customers which are reaching the IVR to dial an extension straight away without going through the options of the IVR system:
6. Specify the Timeout Time and choose a Timeout recording which will be played after the timeout:
7. Click "Timeout Destination" under "Timeout Options" to select an action if the end-user does not select an option from your IVR:
You can choose to go to an Extension, Queues, IVR, Time Condition, Announcements, Terminate Call, Call Forward, Voice Mail
8. Select the number of invalid attempts possible for an end-user to make before an action is taken from "Invalid Attempts" under the "Invalid Selection Options" section:
9. Click "Invalid Recording" under the Invalid Selection Options to choose for a recording to be played every time a user pressed an invalid entry:
10. Click "Invalid Destination" to choose a recording to be played after the invalid attempts:
11. Navigate to the "Menu Options" section and choose the destination for each key pressed for your IVR:
12. You can add multiple options for the end-user by clicking on "Add Option+". Example: Press 1 for Support; Press 2 for Sales; Press 3 for Finance
Once done click "Create" to complete your IVR configuration:
